The TPA Conference Committee welcomes all
principals and educators to the 2011 conference,
this year being held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Launceston on Thursday 19 May to Saturday 21 May.
As the demands on time for busy Principals increases, TPA this year has settled on a compact conference format of one and half days. Delegates will be able to participate in the full conference day on Friday 20 May as well as a half day on the Thursday which includes optional school visits, the TPA AGM and a Conference Reception featuring a brief insight into the Friday program. The conference for 2011 is also offering a recreational day on the Saturday.
The conference is designed around a group of highly valued keynote and workshop speakers including Dr Thelma Perso, Professor Neil Crantson and Dr Glenys Drew. The conference title of High Leverage Leadership: What can leaders do to raise student outcomes? will give each speaker the scope to
address the title question through their own particular field of expertise.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference where, as well as interacting with speakers, we hope you take the opportunity to catch up with colleagues and also form some new educational networks.
